To Some Basics, Part 2

Some Basics, Maybe Helpful Tips
For a Step Forward In Your Career

Here are a few ideas and suggestions that might help keep your film career moving forward.

You probably know all this already, but maybe a couple are new. Take what you like, leave the rest. Here goes:
  • Work harder, be a little smarter and hungrier then the next person.
  • Be disciplined and persistent in chasing your goals.
  • Actions and Objectives. Accomplishments in life are nothing but an old acting exercise. Define your Objectives and take the actions to accomplish them.
  • Persistence -- Was that said yet? Super Important.
  • Stay focused, write up a concrete, specific plan of action, 1 week, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, and stay focused on it.
  • Work on it - Everyday!
  • Find the people and resources to help you, anything, anyone that will give you a chance. Search them out. Ask. Ask. Ask
  • Give energy and commitment to the place you want to go in your life. Your life will go in the direction you chose to give energy.
  • Get out there, be energetic, be positive, have integrity, meet and work with your peers, and promote, promote, promote.
  • Be Open to Possibilities as they Present themselves. You never know who or how or in what form opportunity presents itself.
